Vision: Tweed Shire is a safe community where
domestic and family violence is not tolerated.

Home

The Tweed DVIRC website is designed for Human Service Workers in the Tweed Shire to provide information,  resources and services in a central and accessable location that maybe helpful when assisting or  supporting an individual or family affected by domestic and family violence.

This website is an initiative of the Tweed Shire Integrated Response to Domestic and Family Violence Committee. The Tweed DVIRC website is one of the Committee’s “Safe Communities” stategies.

The Committee acknowledges the place where we live and work as Bunjulalung Country, the traditional lands of the Bunjalung people and pay our respects to the Elders past and present.

Current Strategies

The Tweed DVIRC Safe Communities Project received funding for a number of initiatives from the Community Builders Funding Program in late 2010 to develop and deliver several strategies that will contribute to achieving the goals of the DVIRC.
